    Let me rate your box

Answering three questions will help scientifically rate your box on a scale from utter toxic waste to the best box in the modern world.

    Where it came from?

    How well did it travel?

Boxes are used for transport (at least – that's their original use). Transport has its environmental impact, as you are probably aware. A good box should make the transport space and energy efficient. Eg. Models lightweight cardboard allows producers to pack more in smaller spaces and adds little to none freight weight. These marginal gains add up...

    Where is it going?

Do you know how to recycle it?

It is properly marked, so you know how to dispose of it? If it's cardboard, it's already in a great category of recyclables – highly recycled and highly recyclable.

At Model we want our good boxes back. Because we trust no other material as our own, so many of our clients choose to enter our closed-loop system where boxes return to our plants after use...

    Why should I care?

    Because boxes are fun

We know you feel the extra in the ordinary when you open a particularly well made cardboard package:) You may be a grown adult, but how many times have you thought "hmm that's a nifty little box!". You care already.

Because once you notice the extra, everyone will

Remember when no one cared about plastic? And to be honest, microplastics aren't even considered a major threat by environmentalists...
