    Model in the Czech Republic

    We are one of the leading producers of cardboard packaging and a provider of associated services in the Czech Republic, with more than 1,300 employees in our facilities in Opava, Nymburk, Hostinné and Moravské Budějovice.

    We are a member of the Swiss Model Group, with production facilities in Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland and Croatia and an annual turnover of approx. EUR 730 million.

    According to the ranking established by Bisnode, a company providing data and analyses, we became the most stable Czech firm in the period 2016 to 2020.

    Our benefits

    Bonuses

    Each month, you can earn up to 23% of your base salary as a bonus. Production employees who exceed 105% performance can receive up to 28%.

    Annual Bonus

    Model’s success is the success of our employees. At the end of the year, we reward you with a bonus of up to CZK 38,000.

    Extra Pay on Base Salary

    Overtime is paid at 80% extra, work on a public holiday during a weekday at 200%, on a public holiday during a weekend at 140%, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 60%. Night shifts are rewarded with CZK 34/hour.

    Signing Bonus

    Join us and receive an extra CZK 60,000. The recruitment bonus applies to selected positions.

     

    Up to 30 Days of Vacation

    Instead of the statutory minimum of 20 days, you start with 26 days of vacation. After one year, you are entitled to 28 days, and after two years, to 30 days.

    Canteen

    We offer delicious meals at all our plants, with a lunch menu priced at CZK 50. If workplace catering is not available, we provide a meal allowance.

    Loyalty Rewards

    Every 5 years, we pay an annual financial reward for each year worked with us.

    Do you know someone who would be a great fit for our team? Recommend a new colleague and earn up to CZK 50,000.

    Cafeteria & MultiSport Card

    After a three-month probation period, you receive a CZK 10,200 (points) contribution to the Pluxee (Sodexo) cafeteria and access to the MultiSport card, granting entry to over 1,900 sports facilities across the Czech Republic.

    We support informal gatherings with colleagues and family and regularly organize Model Day, Open Day, Go4Beer, St. Nicholas Gift Giving, and a Christmas party.

    Model Academy

    Language development, management skills, professional expertise, and mandatory legal training. In addition, we offer an extensive e-learning program that we continuously develop.

     

    Head Full of Ideas

    We encourage innovative thinking among our employees. For each idea, we credit CZK 500–1,000 to the cafeteria. Ideas are also entered into an annual competition.

    Pension Contribution

    We regularly contribute CZK 1,200 to your pension savings or long-term investment product (DIP).

    Model Sport

    Join our team and represent Model Obaly at selected competitions! The company covers the entry fees for supported events, and active participants can receive a free sports jersey.
