It is properly marked, so you know how to dispose of it? If it’s cardboard, it’s already in a great category of recyclables — highly recycled and highly recyclable. At Model we want our good boxes back. Because we trust no other material as our own, so many of our clients choose to enter our closed-loop system where boxes return to our plants after use.

Look — just ask a child. Or a cat. The creatures who see the extra in the ordinary. A good box can stay with you. There are literally thousands of things you can repurpose a good box for. We've been zero-waste since the 19th century, so we can share some ideas.

It’s not all on you

Reducing waste, protecting the environment, fighting against climate change are not your private quests, not fights won by any personal choice — consumer or otherwise. Whether you recycle is less important than whether your government and businesses that sell you products make it easy for you to recycle. A good box will be a good box no matter what you do with it.
